Equine Fencing

When considering fencing for horses, the main consideration is the safety of your mares, stallions and foals. You need effective fencing solutions that protect and divide without the risk of harm. We supply, install, maintain and repair quality equine fencing from leading brands.

From field boundaries to stables and arenas, we offer a range of practical horse fencing to suit your budget and desired aesthetic. With durable products and professional installation, our fencing and gates keep your horses safe and secure.

1

Equine Mesh or Equifence

One option for paddocks is galvanised equine mesh. This cost-effective solution is durable and rust-resistant. It has smaller spacing than agricultural stock fencing to prevent hooves from being caught in the gaps. It also helps to keep wildlife out of equine areas. It is available in a range of heights and can be topped with an electric fence, wooden rail or Stud Rail. It has no sharp edges and can be specified as “foal safe” with only 50mm wide gaps.

2

Horserail or Stud Rail Fencing

As Horserail installers, we know that this is a popular option for equine fencing. The high tensile solution perfectly balances the need for robust yet flexible boundaries. Horses are unable to break through the boundary, yet it has sufficient give to prevent harm should an accident occur. Available in Brown, Black or White and fully electrifiable, it is arguably one of the longest-lasting fences available.

Hotcote Permanent Electric Fencing

Hotcote offers the same advantages as Horse Rail in that it has a high tensile wire core for strength, combined with a plastic coating for safety and visibility. Fully electrifiable, Hotcote is suitable for creating paddocks or “topping off” a fence to prevent leaning and rubbing.

3

Post & Rail Fencing

Post and Rail fencing is highly desirable and is the classic equine fence. The traditional style has aesthetic appeal which flows and fits the landscape whilst being robust and durable. Ideal for creating smaller paddocks, enclosing a stable yard or irregularly shaped fields. Available in a range of heights, it can be built tall enough to contain stallions and show jumpers.

4

Field Gates

To complement the equine fencing, we supply and install quality field gates. Diamond brace wooded gates or galvanised metal gates provide convenient access to stable courtyards and grazing paddocks. Galvanised gates are available fully meshed to prevent horses from entangling their legs between the bars.
